Wine delivery costs

When you are ready to drink, gift or move your wine, we arrange delivery from Dinton Woods to your door, to another bonded warehouse, or overseas.

Before you request a delivery

Insured delivery

Prices exclude insurance. Insured delivery is charged at 1.5% of the total value of the wines, with a minimum charge of £20.00.

Fuel supplement

Due to high fuel prices, London City Bond may apply a supplementary fee of up to 20%. Please ask at the time of your request.

Delivery days

A printed tariff booklet gives delivery days for all UK postcodes — please ask if you would like the details.

Real-time tracking

Deliveries can be tracked online in real time, from order through to electronic proof of delivery.

Duty and VAT. Wine delivered to an address in the UK leaves bond, so UK excise duty and VAT become payable on release. Deliveries to another bonded warehouse remain in bond.
